An interesting Russell Brand News (Trews) story today
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAY46NW7EDo

If you can try to put aside your thoughts about Mr Brand and his motives for a moment, and just focus on the subject matter, I find it staggering that the nonce cover up, dare I say, child murder cover up that is going on to protect the establishment and political classes confirms that even in the modern day, Internet age, that the class system is as strong as it ever was.

This story and other related ones should be dominating news every day ? And how can they not publish dossiers and reports on the grounds of national security? Equally, how can anyone vote in a system that is this opaque. 100 days to another election and no one worth voting for, political system that is a farce. I trust none of them until there is full transparency into what they get up to.

And while there is a House of Lords, democracy is just a word and a gesture?

Feel better now :-)

No it isn't and to be fair to you I've never seen you as someone who has to look at everything through a political prism.

She's probably sadly right alpha.
I actually think all child sex cases should be done in secret and then if someone is found guilty they're castrated and their name made public.

Theresa May , that rampant communist said "Child abuse cases are 'tip of the iceberg' in sexual exploitation of young people"

When the talk comes from disparate sources, it is reasonable to assume there is something to it.

Not sure that "Russell Brand" & "Interesting" should be included in the same sentence, however, this is a very real & current problem that is clearly being hushed up & played down by politicians

I would recommend anyone who is interested in reading the Keith Hoare series of books starting with "The People Traders" which although fictional gives a frightening insight into the sort of thing that's going on in real life

A decent talk on that very subject by Michael Shermer

His book The Believing Brain is quite good too.

We know the establishment are involved in this and cover it up, prince andrew, leon brittain, heath, lord Boothby the list is endless, Saville must have had the blessing of establishment figures to get away with what he did. Wont be investigated though will it! Bit like lord lucan wasnt hunted down but the traversed the planet to get Biggs.

You know that God Spot in the yoomin brain which neurologists reckon is responsible for so many of us believing in god(s) despite how very silly the whole idea is vis lack of evidence? Well I wonder if the God Spot is responsible for the similarly tenacious beliefs of the CTNs. Parallels can be drawn between their activities and preoccupations and those of goddies.

Yeh, the problem with "hearing talk" is, sometimes it turns out to be true, sometimes it turns out to be false, "hearing talk" isn't very reliable unless it's backed up with something more substantial.
